I'm a Program Manager and Principal BI Engineer based in Portland, Oregon. With 16 years in healthcare IT and 6+ in enterprise analytics, I've been building the infrastructure that health systems rely on to make operational decisions, from the data model up through the dashboard a department director opens every Monday morning.
My work at Providence Health spans revenue cycle, surgical operations, clinical staffing, patient experience, and finance, with over 75 dashboards governed across the Oregon region. I also work directly with Epic's Clarity database and maintain the semantic layer that keeps reporting consistent across Oregon Operations and Finance.
On the consulting side, I take on projects where organizations need more than a report. That means scoping the problem, architecting the solution, building it, and handing off something that runs. The chef scheduling app is one example of that model in practice.
